REIKI NEWS & REVIEW:
By Columnist Camille Lucy – Certified Holistic Health Coach & Reiki Practitioner:
There are a variety of basic laws of the universe that apply to each and every one of us. Understanding and implementing these can greatly enhance our lives.
These laws of the universe are always at play; they cannot be avoided or ignored. They have a very direct role in our lives and can be harnessed to improve our external manifestations. In this article, we will discuss twelve very relevant and powerful laws, and next month we’ll discuss ways to open ourselves to receiving the benefits of these laws.
The Law of Divine Oneness
This very basic Universal Law helps us to understand that we live in a world where everything is connected. Everything we do, say, think and believe affects others and the universe around us. And, this, in turn, affects us. All that is seen and unseen is inseparable, and all part of pure consciousness and universal energy.
The Law of Vibration
The Universe moves, vibrates and travels in circular patterns. The same principles of vibration in the physical world apply to our thoughts, feelings, and desires, as well as wills in the world of energy. Each sound, object and even thought, has its own vibrational frequency, unique unto itself. Manifestations of matter, energy, and thoughts etc., are a result of the different frequencies of vibration. The universe is in constant motion, even if we cannot see it. Solid matter vibrates at a low frequency, yet it is still always in motion.
The Law of Action
The Law of Action must be applied for us to manifest things on earth. Therefore, we must engage in actions that support our thoughts, dreams, and emotions as well as words. We must have the same vibrational frequency as our desires. Actions that are in disharmony with your ideas will not produce results. Plus, fear or a lack of effort cannot produce the result you want. Timely action with aligned thoughts back any said action, thus producing the desired result. Actions can be small, but they are necessary to set the ball in motion.
The Law of Correspondence
This Law states that the principles or laws of physics that explain the physical world – energy, light, vibration, and motion – have their corresponding principles in the universe. “As above, so below. As within, so without.” Our external world is a direct reflection, a mirror, of what is happening inside of us.
The Law of Cause and Effect
Nothing happens by chance or outside Universal Law. Every action has a reaction or consequence and we “reap what we have sown.” Our thoughts, behaviours and actions create effects in the material world that become our external life circumstances.
The Law of Compensation
This Law is the Law of Cause and Effect applied to blessings and abundance that are provided for us. The visible effects of our deeds are given to us in gifts, money, inheritances, friendships, and blessings. We are compensated in direct proportion to what we put out into the universe.
The Law of Attraction
We create the events, and people that come into our lives because of our actions. Our thoughts, feelings, words, and actions produce energies which, in turn, attract like energies. Negative energies attract other negative energies, and positive energies attract other positive energies. Our external world and life situation(s), is a direct reflection of our vibrational frequency and our thoughts and perception.
The Law of Perpetual Transmutation of Energy
This law is a powerful one; it states that all of us have the power to change our lives. Higher vibrations consume and transform lower ones; each one of us can change these energies (manifestations or conditions) in our lives by understanding the Universal Laws and applying the principles. Energy is always in motion and will eventually appear in physical form and matter. Our thoughts eventually appear in physical manifestation.
The Law of Relativity
Everyone has their own series of problems (tests etc.), and they appear for the purpose of strengthening the Light within us. We must consider each of these “tests” to be a challenge or opportunity, and remain connected to our hearts when attempting to solve the problems. This law teaches us to view our problems to others’ problems, or what our problems “could be,” and put everything into perspective. No matter how bad we think our situation is, it could always be worse. Nothing is big or small, good or bad until we relate it to something else and attach meaning to it. We cannot see good without comparing it to bad. We do not know what light is, in the absence of darkness. It is all relative. It’s all about perception. Every challenge is a blessing and opportunity to grow and learn. Everything just is.
The Law of Polarity
Everything is on a continuum and has an opposite. We can transform unwanted thoughts by concentrating on the opposite pole. The Law of Polarity is the law of mental vibrations. Therefore, if you choose a better feeling thought, you’ll raise your vibration. To fully experience life, we must accept, be grateful and focus on abundance and blessings.
The Law of Rhythm
Everything vibrates and moves to certain rhythms. These rhythms become seasons, and cycles, stages of development, and patterns. Each cycle reflects the regularity of our universe. We can ride the wave of negative cycles by not becoming too attached, and focus on a brighter cycle. Everything flows in and out, rises up and down, the pendulum swings both ways. The energy in the universe is always in rhythm and perfect harmony, swinging left to right and back again.
The Law of Gender
Everything has masculine (yang) and feminine (yin) principles, and this is the basis of all of creation. We must strive to balance our masculine and feminine energies to become more peaceful, joyous, whole and aligned.
It is important to understand that we can ignore these laws, but they are still functioning without our attention. The best thing we can do for ourselves, and the world we live in, is to become familiar with the basic laws and utilise them to improve our physical condition. Once applied, we begin to see evidence almost immediately (if we are open to it) of the beneficial effects of staying aligned with the universe and all of our desires.
True happiness does not come from outside of ourselves. We must seek and find happiness within (changing out thoughts, perceptions and vibrations), realising we are whole and we are Love. Then, and only then, can we begin to maintain joy and completeness, and master the art of manifesting all that we desire in the physical world, for the right reasons.
About this 12-part Reiki Series
In this 12-part series, readers will learn about the energy of life, how it affects us, how we can utilise it in advantageous ways and ultimately, how to achieve the Ultimate Success in their very own lives: true joy, love and happiness. I will describe the Chakras (their location, connectivity and more), what energy healing is, and how the Laws of the Universe are at play at all times.
Additionally, I will detail how readers can open themselves to receiving, to flow with life instead of resisting, and how we are driven by fear and love. At the end of the 12-part series, readers should have a better understanding of their bodies, themselves and how to expand and enhance their experiences.
Next month I will cover ‘Open to Receiving’. I hope you’ll join me then 🙂
